Meet author Jan Muir Peine and her daughter/illustrator, Kendra Weeks, with Jackson Grey (Jan’s grandson) in the middle. Our latest children’s book, Magic Masks, is based on Kendra and Jackson’s COVID story. Kendra, with Jackson’s help, worked in their garage sewing personal protection equipment (masks) for doctors and nurses when supplies were diminished. I was so proud of them. Magic Masks is based on Jackson’s love of playing doctor; he encourages our young readers to choose kindness and compassion instead of anger and fear.

What began as the birth of my first grandson, Holden, some twenty-one years ago evolved into a passionate mission for me. I grieved the world this precious child was entering. I prayed to God to send someone to make the world a better place. He responded, “I did. Two thousand years ago. Now begin acting like your big brother, and then we will talk. Since that time, we have written and or published eight hard copy books and two E-books. We want to share our stories with others in pursuit of being obedient to God. We donate our books to children who are in need, sick children, adoption clinics, churches, and orphanages. The journey has not been an easy one, but we like to say, “Our story for His Glory.” We pray our books will touch your heart so that you may touch others for Him.
